Reguiac!ons Governin.~ biebi!e Home Parks: <br /> Tl~e purpose of this ordinance is to regulate and guide the <br /> establishment of mobile borne parks in order to promote the ~{ub!ic's <br /> health, safe~y, and general welfare of the citizens of Cabarrus <br /> County, ~or~h Carolina. This ordinance is designed ~o ~ccomplisb <br /> nhe fo!!owin~} specific objectives: <br /> <br /> (a) to further the orderly layout of mobile home parks, <br /> {b) to secure safe~y from fire, panic and o~her damases, <br /> {c) {-o provide adequate light and air, <br /> <br /> {d) to insnre that facilities for transportation, par~ing, <br /> water, sewage and recreation are provided for mobile <br /> home park residents. <br /> <br /> A. Definitions: For the purpose of this section certain words __ <br /> and terms used herein are defined as follows: <br /> <br /> (1) Mobile Home: A structure transportable in one or more <br /> sections, ~hich is eight (8) body feet or more in width <br /> and thirty-two (32) bo~y feet or more in length, and <br /> whlch is built on a permanent chassis, and designed to <br /> be used as a dv~ellin~ ~,~ith or withoun a permanent founda- <br /> tion, when connected to the required utilities, and in- <br /> cludes ~o].umbin~, heating an~' electrical sysuems contained <br /> therein. <br /> <br /> (a)}{obile Home Class I: Shall mean a double wide <br /> mobile home. with the building length no~ to <br /> exceed four (~) times the building ~-~idch. The ~oof <br /> pitch should be a minimum of 4/12. <br /> <br /> (b) Mobile }~ome Class II: Shall mean any single-wide <br /> mobile home not having to meet ~he Class ! n~obile <br /> home criteria. <br /> <br /> (2) Hobile Home Space: Hobile Home Space shall mean s plot <br /> of land within a mobile home path designed for the <br /> accommoda~ioo of a single mobile home in accordance with <br /> [he requirements set forth in ~his seczlon. <br /> <br /> {?) Private Drive or Drivewavs: Private drive or driveways <br /> shall, mean anv street or road wi~:hin the mobile ho,ne <br /> n~rk not pubiiclv :~:~ntsinc{f or ,{,bi~cl, dedicated but <br /> u{.{lized as access by the resiaents o[ tho mo~:~te home <br /> pa~'k, zhe~r guests, the public, and by public ned <br /> prin.'ate service vehicles. <br /> <br /> <br />
