C. 28025 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. McGinnis: <br /> <br />At a Called Monthly Meeting on December 9, 1982, the Cabarrus County <br />Parks and Recreation Advisory Comaission approved a Resolution recom- <br />mending that the Cabarrus Board of County Commissioners re-appoint <br />Mr~ Gerald Nichols, Mr. Thomas Dayvault, and Mr. Scott Trott to a three- <br />year ~he Advisory C~mmi~-s~o~-T-. Each one ~f-'~h~'~entlemen are <br />eligible for re-appointment for a three-year te~l. <br /> <br />In other action the Recreation Commission re-elected Jim Net~an as its <br />Chai~an for the 1983 Calendar Year, Gerald Nichols as Vice-Chairman <br />and Thomas Dayvault as Member-at-Large on the Executive Committee. <br /> <br />In addition, the Recreation Commission approved a Staff recommendation <br />to increase the registration fees for Special Programs which includes <br />all fine arts classes, adventure programs, physical activity programs <br />and other programs that are scheduled on a quarterly basis from the <br />current $10.00 per quarter fee to $12.00 per quarter. This action <br />was necessary in order to meet the projected revenue budget for Special <br />Programs as approved by fhe Board of County Commissioners in June of <br />1982. <br /> <br />Please forward the Recreation's Recommendation for Board re-appointments <br />to the Board of County Commissioners before January 27, 1982. This is <br />the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Parks and Recreation Com- <br />mission and the appointments will need to be made prior to that date. <br /> <br />Your attention to this matter would be appreciated. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />William K.
