NORTH CAROLINA <br /> SECURITY SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, dated December , 1980, by and between <br /> <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY (the "County") and CABARRUS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL <br /> (the "Hospital"); <br /> <br /> t~ I T N E S S E T H: that-- <br /> <br /> {~ttEREAS, the partie~ have agreed that a full time security <br />services program is in the best interest of the Hospital, its <br />patients and the general public; <br /> <br /> NOI~, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and the <br />mutual covenants contained herein, the parties hereto agree as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Establishment of Security Unit. The County, through the <br />office of the Sheriff of Cabarrus County, shall establish a <br />security unit at the Hospital. Initially, such unit shall <br />consist of a lieutenant and four senior patrolmen. <br /> <br /> 2. _Duties of Security Unit. The security unit Shall pro- <br />vide full time (twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week) <br />security coverage at the Hospital.
