rounds, provide security coverage and routine patrols; ad¢ise <br /> Hospital personnel on security procedures; perform escort services <br /> for Hospital persongel; investigate complaints and assist in <br /> the maintenance of order at the Hospital. The unit shall consnlt <br /> with the Hospital Director regularly; assist Hospital personnel <br /> in development of fire, security and safety programs; review and <br /> initiate security training programs at the Hospital; and at all. <br /> times maintain a high visibility level. <br /> <br /> 3. Reporting Procedures. The security unit shall remain <br />employees of Cabarrus County and members of the Cabarrus County <br />Sheriff's Department. The unit, through its lieutenant, shall be <br />responsible and report to a designated member of Hospital's <br />administrative staff. The unit shall abide by applicable Hospital <br />policies and procedures. <br /> <br /> 4. ~ompensation. As payment for such services, the Hospital <br />shall pay to the County monthly a sum equivalent to the s~lary <br />and benefits cost of three senior patrolment and a Sheriff's <br />Department lieutenant. <br /> <br /> 5. Amendment. This agreement may be amended from time to <br />time by the parties to provide additional coverage or flexibility <br />in the administration of the security services program at the <br />Hospital. The parties shall consult with the Sheriff of Cabarrus <br />County in the establishment or implementation of any changes to <br />this agreement. <br /> <br /> 6. Termination. This agreement may be terminated at any <br />time by either party upon ninety days prior written notice. <br /> <br /> <br />
