McGinnis, County Manager <br />DATE: March 2, 1981 <br />SUBJECT: Removal of trees <br /> <br />Mr. W. G. Morton, agent for Davey Tree Service which is a contractee <br />of Duke Power Company, has called co my attention that ~ number of trees <br />parallel to the Duke Power right-of-way at the rear of the Cabarrus <br />County Health Department pose the danger no power lines crossing the <br />right-of-way. After looking over the area with Mr. Morton, it was <br />determined that upwards of twenty (20) trees would need removing. <br />The Board of Commissioners would need to approve the removal of these <br />trees. If the Board Jpproves the removal of these trees, I would <br />like to recommend that the County Forester be authorized to sell the <br />trees for pulpwood on behalf of the County. <br /> <br /> <br />
