Memo to: Charles McGinnis <br />Date : March 11, 1981 <br />Page : Two <br /> <br />It seemed apparent to the planning staff staff from the begin- <br />zng, that the developers wanted to divest themselves of several <br />mobile home parks in different states throughout the southeastern <br />United States and in fact subdivide and transfer the property to <br />individual owners <br /> <br />As this development was constructed as a rental mobile home park, <br />(with streets not constructed no state specifications, en~.) <br />does not meet the requirements as outlined in the Subdivision <br />Ordinance. Although the developer insists that the park has been <br />in existance since the early 1970's, this fact is irrevelant in <br />that he is now proposing to change uses of the property. The <br />new use of the property (subdivided property) would be subjected <br />to the Cabarrus County Subdivision Regulations. <br /> <br />If further information is required, please advise. <br /> <br />pds <br />Attachment <br /> <br /> <br />
