ssurances <br /> Q~J ~ If selected for Funding, ti~e Owner and the Applicant agree to <br /> Ce[~ifiCQ~[COS comply with the following regulations and with all ~ther re§ula- <br /> tioas which will be subsequently outlined by the Division of <br /> Archives and History during the course of the project: <br /> <br /> 1. Applicant is willing to have architectnral drawinga, specifi- <br /> cations and/or other reports such as engineering, archaeolog- <br /> ical or historical to be professionally prepared as required <br /> by the Division's Project Manager. <br /> <br /> 2. lfnan determined necessary by the Project Manager, Applicant is <br /> also willing co employ professionals to supervise project work. <br /> <br /> 3. Applicant is willing to record a memorandum of agreement with <br /> the Division of Archives and Histor~ or a preservation easement <br /> with the deed of the property (if the grant amount is in excess <br /> of $10,O00.00),which certifies that the owner will ~aintain the <br /> property, will obtain the approval of the Division of Archives <br /> and History prior to any structural or visual changes to the <br /> property, and will provide fo[ interior or exterior visitation <br /> a minimum of 12 days per year, if applicable, for a period of <br /> 5 to 20 years. The length of time of the easement is related <br /> to the amount of gran[ assistance. <br /> <br /> Applicant agrees that all work during the projec~ period and <br /> during the easement period will be carried out zn accordance <br /> with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Historic <br /> Preservatio9 Projects as tnterpreted by the'Morth Carolina <br /> Division of Archives and History. <br /> <br /> 5. Applicant will conduct contract and procurement (bidding) actions <br /> in a manner that provides for maximum open and free competition <br /> in compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations amd OMB Cir- <br /> cular A-lO2. Ai~ contracts in excess of $2,500.00 will be compe- <br /> titively negotiated, and all contracts in excess of $10,O00.00 <br /> shall ba advertised for bid. <br /> <br /> 6.
