These <br />meetings will be held on an as-needed basis <br />If program amendments require prior HOD approval, a public hearin~ <br />shall be held specifically on the amendment. <br />Citizens may also be involved~in implementation of..~projects specifical- <br />ly requiring citizen participation, such as self-help projects. Their <br />roles will be defined as the project develops. Technical assistance <br />will be available as needed. <br />PROGRAM ASSESSb~NT activities by citizens will occur zn a variety of <br />ways. A performance hearin~ will be held thirty (30) no sixty (60) <br />days przor to the start of planning for the next program year. The <br />Advisory Committee will be asked to provide citizen commennary for <br />the Grantee Performance Report, and to review that report prior to its <br />submission. <br /> As part of the Orientation to the program offered at the Public Hearing, <br /> citizens will be invited to submit comments on all aspects of program <br /> performance throughout the program year. ~omplaints should be submitted, <br /> in writing, to W.S. Chandler, Jr., Planning Director, Post Office Box <br /> 707, Cabarrus County Courthouse, Concord, North Carolina 28025. He <br /> will respond in writing within fifteen (15) working days. If the <br /> response is unsatisfactory, the complainant should write directly to <br /> Ralph C. Bonds, Chairman, Cab mrrus County Board of Commissioners, Post <br /> Office Box 707, Concord, North Carolina 28025. The Chairman shall <br /> respond within fifteen (15) working days. If the citizen is still <br /> dissatisfied: he/she should ~ite to the Greensboro HUD Area Office, <br /> 4~5 N. Edgeworth Street, Greensboro, North Carolina 27401 requesting <br /> investiganion of the problem. Program staff will also be available <br /> during normal business hours to respond to citizen inquiries. <br /> <br /> <br />
