Manpower <br />- Manpower staff spent May and early June preparing Part Ii of the annual man- <br /> power plan. This part of the plan outlines the amount and type of manpower <br /> services and training fo be offered to county disadvantaged and Iow income <br /> persons for FY'82. Requests ~or proposals fo operate the programs n each <br /> county will be released in late June. Funds for projects ~or which no county <br /> operators bid will be made available to operators of fhe sa~e project i'n other <br /> counties. <br /> <br /> Based on initial expressions of interest, i~ appears tbere wi'Il ~e no ~id for <br /> Adult Basic Education in Cabarrus County. if the Manager ~eels that these <br /> programs should be offered in the county, he should contact Chuck Chorak to <br /> see if an interested onerator can be located. <br /> <br /> <br />
