CABARRUS COUNTY
Posi Office Box 707
CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA 28025

July 8, 1981

TO: Charles D. McGinDis
FROM: Mike Hunsuck/~/'~
SUBJECT: June Status Report

The following is a monthly report for the two CETA Programs

that operate in the county:

CETA (PSE)

ENROLLMENT: (As of June 30, 1981)

Number of people enrolled in Title II-D 11

Number of people enrolled in Project VI 5

PAYROLL:

(a) Number of participants receiving checks in June 19

(b) Amount of June payroll* $11~193.25

(c) Number of personnel: administrative 2

training 1

(d) Amount of training costs~* $ 5,023.95

(e) Amount of administrative costs** $ 1,278.51

The average cost per participant to
administrate the program (e ~ a) $ '67.29

COMMENTS:

Tuesday, June 30th, was the final day for eleven Title II-D
participants. Of the eleven, ten were laid off, and one found a
full-time job. Last Tuesday was also the final day for our
Training Counselor, Johnnie Jones. My final day working for the
County will be July 16th, and Debbie Heath's final day will be
July 24th. The reason that Debbie will be laid off a week early
is because there is only enough money budgeted to carry her through
this date. (When I made out the budget in March, I was unaware that
I would be leaving th~s month and would have to be paid for my
accrued vacation time.)
