Guaranteeing access to and making all provisions for the <br /> ENGINEERS to enter upon public and private property as required <br /> for the ENGINEERS to perform their services. <br /> <br /> 4. Examining all studies, reports, sketches, drawings, the <br /> construction plans and specifications, proposals and other docu- <br /> ments presented by the ENGINEERS, obtaining advice of an attorney, <br /> insurance counselor and other consultants as OI,~ER deems appropri- <br /> ate for such examination and rendering in ~iting decisions per- <br /> taining thereto within a reasonable time so as not to delay the <br /> services of the ENGINEER. <br /> <br /> 5. Giving prompt ~itten notice to the ENGINEERS whenever the <br /> the OWNER observes or otherwise becomes aware of any defect in <br /> the project or changed circumstances. <br /> <br /> 6. Furnishing the ENGINEERS in a timely manner with copies of <br /> pertinent correspondence relating to the project which would not <br /> otherwise have been delivered to the ENGINEERS. <br /> <br /> 7. Bearing all costs incident to compliance with the requirements <br /> of this article. <br /> <br />B. Insofar as any of the above services are necessary to the ENGINEER': <br />performance of their obligations under this contract, the OWNER shall <br />be responsible for providing such services in a satisfactory and timely <br />fashion so as not to delay the ENGINEERS in their performance of said <br />obligations. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VI ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS <br /> <br />The ENGINEERS shall have an internal business accounting system which <br />accounts for engineering costs in accordance with generally accepted <br />accounting principles acceptable to the OWNER. This system shall pro- <br />vide for the identification, accummulation and segregation of project <br />costs. The ENGINEERS must propose and account for costs in a manner <br />consistent with his normal accounting procedures. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VII REPORTS OF WORK <br /> <br />The ENGINEERS shall present verbal and/or written status reports on <br />the project in a format acceptable to the OWNER. The reports shall <br />include the invoices submitted for payment purposes. <br /> <br />IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the parties have caused this instrument to be. <br />duly executed by their duly constituted officials, and their corporate <br />seals hereto affixed, upon authority duly given, the day and year above <br />written. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />by: by: <br /> W.
