As you will observe, our <br />original estimate that we would need a collective fund approaching <br />$50 000 tb--6arry us through the trial stage has proven to be <br />accurate. <br />We appreciate the responses from the 75 counties who have paid <br />their full contributions and from the two counties who have made <br />partial payments. We respectfully renew the request that all <br />counties join in this endeavor and enclose an invoice for the <br />consideration of those counties who have not yet made payment. <br />County officials throughout the State are to be commended for <br />your tremendous cooperation in pulling together a great deal of <br />information to aid in the defense of the lawsuit.
