Special Meetings 2.1 The Chairperson' may call such ~peciat meetings as deemed eecessary to carry out the duties of the Task Force. 2.2 Notice of special meetings shall be given to all members of the Task Force in writing or by telephone at least 3 days in advance. Article V: Committees Section 1. Standing Committees · .' The Chairperson shall appoint at least two members of the Task Force to each of the following standing committees: 1.I Planning Committee whose purpose shall he to plan and carry out the process iof determining the needs of youth in Cabarrus County and putting those needs in. priority order. 1.2 Program Committee whose purpose shall be to make recommenda- tions for the use of community-based alternatives funds. 1.3 Evaluation Committee whose purpose shall be to gather infor- matron about existing programs and monitor the performance of those programs. Public Awareness Committee whose purpose shall be to keep youtb-serving agencies~ appropriate governmental and communi- ty-'~boards, and the ·general public aware of existing services and the unmet needs in the community. Section 2. Additional Committees The Chairperson may at his/bar discretion appoint any other com- mittees which he/she deems necessary to carry out the general purposes of the Task Force.
