THE BOARD OF COI~ISSIONERS <br /> FOR <br /> THE COUNTY OF CABARRUS, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, <br />North Carolina, met in regular session at the Courthouse in <br />Concordt North Carolina, the regular place of meeting, at __ <br />o'clock, December 7, 1981. <br /> <br /> Present: Chairman , presiding, <br />and Commissioners <br /> <br /> Absent: <br /> <br /> Also present: <br /> <br /> Commissioner introduced the fol- <br /> lowing resolution which was read: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS FOR PHILIP MORRIS POLLUTION CONTROL PROJECT <br /> <br /> %~EREAS: The Cabarrus County.Industrial Facilities <br />and Pollution Control Financing Authority (the Authority) has <br />agreed to assist in the financing under the Nqrth Carolina In- <br />dustrial and Pollution Control Facilities Financing Act (the <br />Act) of an industrial and a pollution control project by Philip <br />Morris Incorporated, a Virginia corporhtion, in connection with <br />its new cigarette manufacturing facility near Concord in Cabarrus <br />County and indicated that agreement by the completion of an <br />Inducement Agreement between the parties dated as of March 28, <br />1878; <br /> <br /> <br />
