We would like to request that you, the Cabarrus <br />County Commissioners, proclaim the week of March 8th throqg~ t~e <br /> !'-om ' -eek'" <br />15th as 'wom~B_s_w _. <br /> <br /> This week is being .planned to precede the Leadership Conference <br />for Women sponsored by Governor Hunt in qonjunction with the North <br />Carolina Council on the Status of Women and the Cabarrus County <br />Council. <br /> <br /> Our purpese is to use this week to affirm the achievements of <br />women, to build awareness of their potential, and to disclose and <br />develop resources for their needs. <br /> <br /> As in the past~ we are striving to incorporate agencies of <br />government and volunteer organizations to assure our success in <br />meeting these goa/s. <br /> <br /> Thank you for your co-operation in our endeavor. <br /> <br /> Claalrperson <br /> Cabarrus County Council <br /> on the Status of Women <br /> <br /> <br />
