PETITION FOR TIlE EXTENSION OF TIlE BOUNDARIES OF THE KANNAPOLIS SANITARY DISTR~CT TO the Board of Commissioners of the Kannapolis Sanitary District: The undersigned, owner Df all of the land described hereln- below~ respectfully petitions that all necessary action required by Article 12 of Chapter 130 of the General Statutes of North Carolina for the extension of the boundaries of the Kannapolis Sanitary District in Cabarrus and Rowan Counties be taken so as to annex said land and include the same within the boundaries of the said Kannapolis Sanitary District under the authority of said Carolina.Article 12 of Chapter 130 of the General Statutes of North The purpose of this petition is the annexation of the land or territory described below to said Kannapolis Sanitary District so that said district will include said territory within its boundaries and so that water and sewerage facilities and other utilities and services which said district is authorized to provide may be provided in said territory for the preservation and promotion of the public health and sanitary welfare therein. The petitioner understands that all costs of connection to the existing lines of the district and legal expenses and costs of annexation will be at its expense and in accordance with the provisions of the district's rules, regulations and policies. The petitioner further understands that following annexation of the territory, the lines installed will become the property of the Kannapolis Sanitary District and the district will service and maintain said lines. The boundaries of the territory petitioned to be anllexed to and included in the Kannapolis Sanitary District are as follows: BEGINNING at a corner of the boundary line of the Kannapolis Sanitary District (Kiser Beaver Real Estate, Inc., Cripple Creek Annexation), and runs thence along the boundary line of the Kannapolis Sanitary District in three lines as follows: (1) Nortb 71-07-10 West 56.9 feet, (2) South 57-05-35 West 232.12 feet, and (3) South 71-53-30 East 789.3 feet to an iron stake; thence continuing along the dividing line between the Cabarrus Shrine Club and William T. Sweat't, South 71-53-30 East 152 feet to a point in the western edge of Oakwood Avenue; thence along the western edge of Oakwood Avenue, North 15-40 East 119.9 feet to an iron pipe; thence continuing along Oakwood Avenue, North 31-15 East 50 feet, more or less, ~o a point, a corner of Cabarrus Shrine Club property; thence North 71-07-10 West 744.1 feet, more or less, to a point in the line of the Kannapolis Sanitary District the point of BeginnIng.
