Chandler, Jr./Director of Planning~- <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Assignment of Parking Spaces for Coucthouse <br /> Employees <br /> <br />DATE: July 31, 1980 <br /> <br />In accord with your reques~ To reassign and/or assign individual <br />parking spaces to each Courthouse employee, I enclose the assign- <br />ment sheets for each parking facility and also an explanation of <br />how and why assignments were made as depicted and a list of re- <br />commendations necessary for implementation. <br /> <br />I have talked with most departments in an attemp: to assess the <br />needs of that office. Please notice, that in order that all em- <br />ployees (non-department heads) be disadvantaged equally, they are <br />all assigned across the street at Parking Facility g? 2. ' This is' <br />in agreement with your thoughts in this area. The only' persons <br />tha~ are assigned ~o the Main Facility (~/1) are individuals that <br />are required by job related duties to leave and return ~o the <br />Courthouse at various times during the'day (i.e. Tax Appraisers, <br />Building Inspectors, etc.). <br /> <br />Please notice that the previously assigned spaces have, in some <br />cases, been reassigned to effec[ greater flexibility or continuity. <br />For Example, all 1st floor Department Heads, Judges and District <br />Attorneys will park close to the building between the Tax Office <br />and the sally port of the Sheriff's Department. <br /> <br />If parking is closely monitored to insure that county employees <br />park a~ duly assigned and that their spaces are reserved at all <br />time~, then thirty-nine (39) parking spaces in Facility ~/1 will <br />be available to the general public. These spaces are very acess- <br />able to the general public and will probably accommadate four to <br />six different autos per day. ~, ~ <br />pds <br /> <br /> <br />
