To avoid the possibility of an exercise message being <br /> intercepted by personnel not involved in the exercise and an inappropriate <br /> reaction on their par~, each written and vocal message will be preceded <br /> and ended with the phrase: "This message is for exercise purposes only." <br /> It is mandatory that this phrase be used in all voice radio transmissions <br /> as well as written messages to include the Police Information Network. <br /> <br />XII. PUBLIC INFORMATION. The Public lnofrmation Officer of the Department of <br /> Crime Contro! and Public Safety will coordinate all releases to the media. <br /> PIOs of other participating departments and agencies will coordinate their <br /> ~nput for releases witll El~rgency Response Team PIg prior Lo and during the <br /> exerci se. <br /> <br />XI I I .ADMINISTRAT[VE ~ATTERS. <br /> <br /> A. Meals. The Department of Corrections, Division of Prisons,will prepare <br /> sack lunches for issue to shelterees in shelters. The Department of <br /> Agriculture will arra.nge for the necessary funding for the costs of <br /> the lunches. <br /> <br /> B. Medical Treatment. Facilities for actual medical treatment are <br /> located in Charlotte, Statesville, and Lincolnton. <br /> <br /> C. Press Facilities. Facilities For the press will be maintained at the <br /> SERT field headquarters in the Air National Guard facilities <br /> located at the Douglas Municipal Airport and at the McGuire Nuclear <br /> Station Cfi si s I,~anagement Center (near si te--emergency operations <br /> faci 1 i ty). <br /> <br /> D. Transportation. Transportation for players will be provided by the <br /> department or agency concerned. Requests for special transportation <br /> beyond the capabilities of the department or agency concerned, e.g., <br /> Z~-wheel drive, may be directed to the SERT Resources Coordinator. <br /> Transportation for controllers and evaluators will be coordinated by <br /> the Control Group Leader. <br /> <br />XIV. STATIC DISPLAY. As a means of conserving fuel and to reduce the costs of <br /> this exercise, the static display of vehicles and equipment will not be <br /> held. <br /> <br />XV. CRITIQUE. <br /> <br /> A. An exercise critique will be held upon completion of the exercise at <br /> thb SERT field headquarters in the Air National Guard facility at the <br /> Douglas Municipal Airport. <br /> <br /> <br />
