The one remaining position <br /> <br />in this program was transfered to a Title II-D program, <br /> <br /> Our current funding levels for October 1, 1980, through December 31, 1980, <br />are as follows: <br /> <br /> Title II-D $39,766 <br /> <br /> Title VI Project 17,795 <br /> <br /> Administration 8,357 (This is administration for both PSE <br /> and Youthwork.) <br /> <br /> Pat Locklear. our training counselor for the past t8 months bas resigned <br />effective October 9, 1980. Her replacement is Johnnie L. Jones, who was a youth <br />counselor in the Youthwork program. Our program is required to spend a certain <br />percentage of the yearly grant to train our participants. According to Pat's <br />figures, we have exceeded the required percentages in all three programs. <br /> <br /> We received approval for the county's indirect cost allocation plan on <br />October 3, 1980. This means an additional $5,000 in indirect costs we can claim <br />from last year's contracts. These funds will reimburse the county for office <br />space rental, utilities, and cost incurred by the County Finance Office to handle <br />all accounts payable and receivable. <br /> <br /> YOUTHWO~K <br /> <br />PAYROLL: <br /> <br />Number of participants receiving checks in September 52 <br /> <br />Amount of payroll* $ 6,617.52 <br /> <br />Number of administrative personnel (as of 9/30/80) 4 <br /> <br />Amount of administrative costs** $ 4,286.26 <br /> <br /> The average cost per participant to <br /> administrate the program $ 82.43 <br /> <br />COb~NTS: <br /> <br /> The Youthwork program has entered a new fiscal year, but because the program <br />has not been funded by Congress for the entire year, carry-over funds of $39,859 <br />has been appropriated for the next 90 days. <br /> <br /> There are approximately 65 youth being served in the current winter program. <br />These participants Work no more than 10 hours per week. The current drop out <br />program serves 5 participants. <br /> <br /> Since Johnnie Jones is now the training counselor for the CETA program, there <br />is a counselor vacancy in the youth program.
