Title: Resolution of Support and Endorsement for the Emergency Medical <br /> Services Improvement Program Prepared by Centralina Council of Governments <br /> <br /> Whereas~ the County of ~ recognizes the need for the pro- <br /> vision of adequate emergency medical services to the citizens of <br /> County; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, Centralina Council of Governments has prepared an Emergency Medical <br /> Services Improvement Program for submission to the U.S. Department of Health, <br /> Eduaation, and Welfare for funding under Section 1203 of the Emergency Medi- <br /> cal Service Systems Act (PL 93-154); and <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Emergency Medical Services Improvement Program represents one <br /> step forward toward the provision of adequate emergency medical services <br /> within Region F and in County; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, the Board of Commissioners of . County <br /> desires to participate in the regional EMS Improvement Program; <br /> <br /> Now, therefore, be it resolved, bM the Chairman and members of the Board <br /> of Commissioners of County that: <br /> <br /> 1. The Board of Commissioners endorse and support the Emergency ~dical <br /> Services Improvement Program prepared by Centralina Council of Govern- <br /> <br /> 2. The Board of Commissioners agree to provide or cause to be provided <br /> the amount of Z~. ~ ~ in in-kind matching funds through the <br /> continued'support 6f emergency medical services within <br /> County. <br /> <br /> 3.
