Box 1050 Concord, North Carolina 28025 Dear Mack: The Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners, meeting in regular session on February 12, 1979, appropriated $1,000 from Commissioners' Contin- gency Fund fo~- the purpose of a purchase option on the Youngblood Clinic Building with the stipulation;that this $1,000 is to be automatically refunded in the event that the Commissioners determine not to acquire the Property or credited as part of the purchase price in the event the option to purchase ia executed. It was further noted that this alloca- tion of funds was to be good for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days. The Board of Commissioners will conclude their, final review of this Detoxification Center facility at the next regular meeting of the Board of County Commissioners. The Board of Commissioners designated you at the lead agent of a task study cpmmlttee on Status Offenders Grant Fund for Cabarrus County and requested a recommendation for a program. The Board of Conaniastonere recommended to you the involvement of any agency and/or department that would have direct or indirect involvement in whatever program is recom- mended, such as, Social Services, Health Department, schools, courts, training schools, law enforcement, and any other representative in part as a committee member that you may think appropriate.
