During the f~rst of this month 125 contracts were under lease. <br /> Seven new contracts were executed; thirty-two(32) applications were taken <br /> this month; fifteen(15) Certificates of Family Participation were issued; <br /> one family was re-examined this month and one family was transferred to <br /> a new unit. Letters were issued to six landlords i~ reference to the <br /> Section 8 audit-inspection informing thegn of repairs that had to be made. <br /> <br /> A follow-up visit was made on July 26, 1979 to ensure that the necessary <br /> repairs were bein~ completed. I.~ost of the repairs were completed, how- <br /> ever, a final inspection of the six units will be conducted on August <br /> <br />1979. Outreach efforts were made this month. Twenty-six(26) homes were <br />visited in Concord and there was some £avorable response. Nearly all of <br />tl~e homes were being purchased, however, we did receive seven applications. <br />-We ]]ave received numeous referrals from Kannapolis Real Estate and Brown <br />Springs Trailer Park. Other parks have been contacted but the response <br /> <br /> has not been favorable.
