- 2 - <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 153A-241 of the North Carolina General Statutes <br />authorizes the Board of County Commissioners to adopt a resolu- <br />tion declaring its intent to close a public road and thereafter <br />call for a public hearing on the question; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, that this Board of County <br />Commissioners does, in accordance with Section 153A-241 of <br />the North Carolina General Statutes, hereby declare its intent <br />to permanently close all of Wolf Meadow School Road (formerly <br />State Road 1535) and to call a public hearing at a meeting to <br />be held before this Board on the day of , <br />1979 with reference to this question; <br /> <br />FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Board of County Commissioners <br />shall cause these Preambles and these-Resolutions to be <br />published once a week for four successive weeks in a newspaper <br />of general circulation in Cabarrus County prior to the above- <br />stated hearing date, cause a copy of said Preambles and Reso- <br />lutions to be sent by registered or certified mail to each <br />owner as shown on the county tax records of property adjoining <br />the Wolf Meadow School Road, cause a notice of the road closing <br />and the public hearing to be prominently posted in at least <br />two places along Wolf Meadow School Road and otherwise cause <br />to be satisfied the legal requirements for such road closing, <br /> <br /> <br />
