Change in c]~-ge for home health visits. <br /> <br /> 2. Revise h~e health budget to accept $14,114.44 <br /> as a state appropriation for ~h~ne health <br /> services. <br /> <br />The annual cost report SULTaitted for ~dicare and ~icaid r~imburs~ment <br />~ndicated that our cost ~xce~]ed our projections at the time of budget <br />preparation. Ninety-five percent of ~ne patients sarved by the Home <br />Care Program are covered under Medicare which reimbu~-ses us on our actual <br />cost or c]~rges, whichever is lo%~r. ~]e H~me Health Advisory Council <br />ar~ t-he ~3ard of Health are recc~n~nding the following charges for <br />heal t/] services: <br /> Nursing Visit $34.00 t~' '~'~-~ <br /> ~h 5~erapy Visit $34.00 ~ r~.~,_~ <br /> Physical Therapy Visit $34.00 <br /> Aide Visit $18.00 ~--~ <br /> .~le orderly visit $23.00 <br /> <br />The second recommendation of the ~kxne Health Agency ~viso~q; Board and <br />the Board of Health is to amend the Hc~e Health Budget to accept the <br />state appropriation for home health services. An app~pr~ation_of- <br />$14,1t4.44 %~s allocated to Cabarrus County_to_-~vide fundin_q to of~£set <br />~ cos~-b-f~servic~individuals ~o are medic_ally_illdigent <br /> <br />always served indl~u--~s r~j~-~ of their ability to pay. The funds <br />may also ke used to. exp~d services such as, physical therapy and nutrition. <br /> <br /> <br />
