FIRE~tEN'S PENSION FUND <br /> May 15, 1978 <br /> <br /> TO: ALL RATED AND CERTIFIED FIRE DEPARTblENT <br /> <br /> Enclosed are two "Annual Certification of Firemen" forms. <br /> <br /> Each fire department must~attach a roster of its active firemen to this <br /> annual certification form. Then the certification form must be completed <br /> by the fire department's Governing Body. The Governing Body of a municipal <br /> department is the Town Board or Council. When a fire department serves a <br /> fire district, two certifications and two rosters must be returned, one for <br /> the fire department and one for the fire district. <br /> <br /> North Garolina General Statutes, Chapter 118-23 requires that every f__~ <br /> department baying members in the North Carolina Firemen's Pension Fund must <br /> ~-~h~ir Governing Body submitto th~s~ ~office annu~o~k_of~ <br /> their firemen° <br /> <br /> Even though your fire department may not have members participating in the <br /> No C. Firemen~s Pension Fund, your Governing Body must submit an annual certi- <br /> fication with roster attached of all active firemen t~ thi's office.
