1978 <br /> <br /> PROGRESS REPORT <br /> <br /> ROCKY RIVER REGIONAL WASTEWATER TREATI~'IENT PLANT <br /> <br />The following is a report on the status of completiou of the Concord <br />Rocky River Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant located in Cabarrus <br />County, North Carolina. The report is broken down into the various <br />Divisions of the Project and gives a brief description of the major work <br />included in each Division, the contracts and contractors in tile Division <br />and the percent of work completed, The report cut off date is April <br />25, 1978. This date is the last date Periodical Estimates for Partial <br />Payment were submitted for review and payment by the Board of Light <br />and Water Commissioners of the City of Concord, North Carolina. <br /> <br />Following the completion status report is a list of the Division, the <br />Contractors, the Contract amounts and the overall percent completion <br />of the respective contracts. <br /> <br />Division A <br /> <br />The Division A contracts are General. A-l, Frank L. Black, Jr., Inc.; <br />and Electrical, A-2, Watson Electrical Construction Company. The <br />contract includes site grading, site process piping and storm drainage, <br />the Step I and Step II Clarifiers, the Step II Screw Pump Station, the <br />Return Sludge Screw Pump Station, the Equipment Storage Building and <br />Waste Ash Basin. The A-2 contract, Electrical, includes the low and <br />high voltage duct bank wiring as well as the electrical in each of <br />structures of Division A.:;1 and some control wiring to all other structures <br />of the project. <br /> <br />The Division A-1 contractor, Black, has completed approximately 99% of <br />the site grading, 93% of the process piping and 70% of the storm drainage. <br />The concrete work on the Step II Screw Pump Station and Return Sludge <br />Screw Pump Station is about 58% and 60% complete respectively. The <br />conhrete work on all the Step I and II Clarifiers is complete, with excep- <br />tion of grouting. Installation of Clarifier equipment is approximately 85% <br />complete. The Waste Ash Basin is about 85% complete lacking only the <br />concrete divider wall; the Equipment Storage Building and Water Storage <br />Tank are complete. Overall, Frank L. Black, Jr., Inc. is 84% complete <br />including stored material. Tile stored material and equipment on the job <br />amount to about 12% of the contract. All of the ~quipment for which <br />progress payments were made is on the job. Therefore; completion of <br />construction to elate is 72% of the contract excluding stored material. <br /> <br /> EXHIBIT "A" (page 1) <br /> <br /> <br />
