Matching funds are available <br /> for inventories of historic buildings, structures, and districts in North <br /> Carolina communities as well as archeological resources. These may include <br /> inventories of whole regions, counties, toms, or smaller areas such as <br /> central business districts or neighborhoods. In an inventory, properties <br /> of significance to the community are identified and asssssed, photographs <br /> made and information gatheredt and a p~lication produced for community <br /> use. Planning studies for historic districts will also be included. <br /> OMsi~ ~ <br /> <br /> states for statewide preservation activities.
