B.~BlJck, County Supervisor of Cabarrus County, has <br /> furnished me a copy of. your request to-him for a Public Hearing <br /> prior to closing and abandonment of the new present Wolf Meadow <br /> School Road. <br /> <br /> The County Commissioners of Cabarrus County .on March 9, 1978 <br /> exercised their option under General Statues Sectzon 136-63 to <br /> abandon and .close SR 1535 (existing access to Wolf Meadow'~School <br /> Road). Attached hereto is a copy of this resolution. As a result <br /> of this action by the County Commissioners, the North Carolina Depart- <br /> ment of Transportation will cease maintenance on this road but we will <br /> play no further part in closing or obliterating the existing road.
