McGinnis <br /> Cabarrus County Manager <br /> Cabarrus County Courthouse <br /> Concord, North Carolina 28025 <br /> <br /> SUBJECT: Linker Road ( SR 2678) <br /> <br /> Dear-Mr. McGinnis, <br /> <br />The Cabarrus County Planning Board in their regular monthly <br />meeting on September 13, 1978 unamiously voted that "Linker <br />Hill Road" is deceptively similar to "Linker Road". They <br />recommend that the name Linker Road (SR 2678) be renamed to <br />a nOn-deceptively similar name and that they do not approve <br />the name of "Linker Hill Road" as acceptable. <br /> <br />If the Board of County Commissioners still want to hold a <br />Public Hearing on October 5, 1978 to rename Linker Road to <br />Linker Hill Road, please inform the County Planning Department <br />of the time and place of the hearing so that the required signs <br />can be posted along the road~ According to General Statute <br />153A-240 these signs have to be posted no later than September <br />25, 1978 to hold a Public Hearing on October 5 <br /> <br /> Sincerely, <br />W~.' ~c~k Alston,~ASP0 <br /> County Planning Director <br /> <br /> cc: Mrs. Cynthia L.
