CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> Post Office Box 70'/ <br /> <br /> CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA 28025 <br /> <br /> FIRE PREVENTION WEEK 1978 <br /> <br /> Cebarrus County Board of Commissioners <br /> Cabal'res County Firemen's Association <br /> Cabarrus County Fire Marshal <br /> <br /> A PROCLAmaTION <br /> <br /> WHERFAS, approximately 9,950 persons died in fire lest year <br />in the United States. <br /> <br /> WHERF~, the United States experienced over 3.5 million fires <br />last year resulting in a loss in excess of 6 billion dollars. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, every responsible citizen of Cebarrus County can do <br />their part iu redu6ing fire losses by learning %o identif~ end correct <br />fire hazerds, having 8 hcme escape plan in ease of fire, end having a <br />smoke detector or combination smoke and heat detection system in %heir <br />home. <br /> <br /> NG¥, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the Cabarrus County <br />Board of Commissioners, in cooperation with the Cabarrus County Firemen's <br />Association and the Cabarrus County Fire Marshal, do hereby proclaim <br />the week beginning October 8, 1978, as FIRE PREVENTION WEEK. <br /> <br /> IN WITNESS THEREOF, we have hereunto set our hand and the Official <br />Seal of Cabarn~ County, this 5th d~y of October, in the Year of Our Lord, <br />Nineteen Hundred Seventy Eight. <br /> <br /> S.
