The Board of Commlsstonors for the County of Cabarrus, <br /> Iorth Carolina, met in regular session at the Courthouse in <br /> ~oncord, North Carolina, the regular place of meeting, at <br /> LO:O0 o'clock A. ~., on September 4, 1945. <br /> Present: J Lee White, Chair~.an, and Com~issioners W M <br /> orrison, C N Crowell$ R W Cline and H L ?ink. <br /> Absent: None <br /> Commissioner N N Norrison introduced the following order <br /> ~uthorizing County bonds, which was read: <br /> Ot~DEE &UTHOEIZING.$42,000 SCHOOL <br /> BUIL1X I,TG BONDS. <br /> %VH'~.w~-a.q the Board of Education of Cabarrus County has <br /> :ertified to this Board a resolution passed by said Board <br /> of Educ~ion on September 4, 1945, showing that it is necess- <br />· ary in order to maintain the constitutional six months' scho~ <br /> term to provide the following school improvements in Cabarrus <br /> County: <br /> Toilet and sewage disposal facilities at the ~¥inecoff <br /> School, <br /> Lunchroom and equipment, toilet and sewage disposal <br /> at the Hartsell School, <br /> Toilet facilities at the Ha~-~risburg School, and <br /> Toilet facilities at the Bethel School; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, said resolution represents that nO funds are now <br /> available and no provision has been made by local tax or <br /> otherwise by which the said school improvements can be pro- <br /> vided and requests this Board to order and issue a sufficient <br /> amount of County bondsin order that said school improvements <br /> may be provided; and <br /> ~¥H~S, the Board of Commissioners has carefully examined <br /> the facts and has determined and hereby finds as a fact that <br /> said st~.~tements of said resolution are true and that it has <br /> become the duty of said Board of' Commissioners, acting as an <br /> administrative agent of the State in providing a State system <br /> of public schools, to order the issuance of a sufficient amount <br /> of County bonds to provide said school improvements in order <br /> to maintain the constitutional six months' school term; <br /> aow, therefore, <br /> BE IT OllD~.2~l~ AND ttESOLV~ by the Board of Commissioners <br /> for the County of Cabarrus: <br /> 1.
