CABAHR~S, NORTH CAH)LINA, TO SUPPLemENT NIEE MONTHS SCHOOL FUND. A special election will be held throughout Cabarrus County between ~sSO AM and SsSO PM on Tuesday, July 2, 1946, at which time there will b submitted to the qulified voters of said county the following question: Shall there be levied on all taxable property and polls in the county a special county tax, not to exceed ten cents (10~) on theone hundred dollars ($100.00) valuation of property, to supplement the nine months school fundt The question here inshore set forth contains a statement of the purp4se for which the special tax will be levied. A new registration has been ordered and no one will be permitted to vote unless registered anew. The books for such new registration will remain open from 9 AM unti sunset on each day, except Sundays and holids ,s, beginning Saturday, June 1, 1946, and c~&s~ Saturday, June 22, 1946, each ~aturday during said registration period said books shall remain .op at the several polling places. On Saturday, June 29, 1946, challenges )f voters so registered amy be made.
