A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO THE CAPITAL OUTLAY BUDGET OF THE <br /> CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION FO~q THE YEAR 19&9 - 1950 <br /> <br /> 1. WHEREAS, the Cabarrus County Board of Educationts Capital Outlay Budget <br /> contains Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) to complete school projects <br /> now under construction, <br /> <br /> 2. WHEREAS, Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) is included to complete the <br /> construction of two cafeterias in the Kannapolis Schools, <br /> <br />3. WHEREAS, the 19~9 Legislature of North Carolina appropriated Twenty-Five , <br />Million Dollars ($25,000,000.00) for constructing school buildings throughout <br />the State of North Carolina~ <br /> <br />~. WHEKEAS, on the ~th of June, 19&9, the people of North Carolina voted <br />Twenty-Five Million Dollars ($25,000,000.00) in bonds for the construction <br />of school buildings in North Carolina, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners ask the <br />Cabarrus County Board of Education to reduce its Capital Outlay Budget for <br />the year 19~9-1950 ~ the amount of Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00), <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />recommend to the Cabarrus County Board of Education that it use an amount of <br />money not to exceed Forty Thousand Dollars ($~0,000.00) from bonds which have <br />already been sold for the purpose of construction of school buildings in <br />Cabarrus County, but will not be used during the school year 19&9-1950, to <br />complete projects as listed, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED FURTHEr, that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />ask the Cabarrus County Board of Education to budget Forty Thousand Dollars <br />($~0,000.00) of the money allotted from the State Board of Education for the <br />const~ruction of school buildings, for use in completing these projects, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that if it is impossible for the Cabarrus County <br />Board of Education to use money allotted from the State Board of Education to <br />complete above named projects that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />will include in its budget for the year 1950-1951 Forty Thousand Dollars <br />($~0,000.O0) for the construction of these projects. <br /> <br /> <br />
