Crowell that the fell owing <br /> Reso]ution pertaining to the capital outlay budget of the Cabarru~ Count <br /> Boar~ of Education be accepted. <br /> <br /> 1. WHEREAS, the Cabarrus County Board of Education's Capital Outlay <br /> <br /> Bodge~ contains Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) to complete <br /> <br /> scho, i projects now under construction, <br /> <br /> 2. WHEREAS, Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) is include~ to <br /> Fifteen <br /> <br /> compl ,te the construction of two cafeterias in the Kannapolis Schools, <br /> $. WHEREAS, the 1949 Legislature of North Carolina appropria~!ed <br /> Twent '-Five Million Dollars ($25,000,000.00) For constructi~ sch¢ol <br /> <br /> buil¢ Lngs throughout the State of North Carolina, <br /> <br /> ~. WHEREAS, on the 4th day of June, 1949, the people of Nort2 Carolina <br /> vote~ Twenty-Five Million Dollars ($25,000,000.00) in bonds for t~e con- <br /> struction of school buildings in North Carolina, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br /> <br /> the C ~barrus C~unty Board of Education to reduce its Capital Outl~ y Budget <br /> <br /> for ~xe Year 17~9-1950 by the amount of ~orty Thousand Dollars ($~ 09000.~0), <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Cabarrus County Board of Coz missioaers <br /> recommend to the Cabarrus County Board of Education that it use a~ nmou~b <br /> of mcney not to exceed Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00) from bends which <br /> have already been sold for the purpose of construction of school uildin~s <br /> in C~barrus County, but will not be used during the school year 1 ~9-195~, <br /> to ccmplete projects as listed, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Cabarras County Board of Cm missioaers <br /> ask he Cabarrus County Board of Education to budget Forty Thousazd Doll rs <br /> ($40,000.00) of the money allotted from the State Board of Education for the <br /> constructioh of school buildings, for the use in complet&ng these proJec ~s, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that if it is impossible for the Cab~rrus County <br /> Board of Education to use money allotted from the State BOa~da~f Education <br /> to ccmplete above named projects that the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br /> will include in its budget for the year 1950-1951 Forth Thousand Eollars <br /> ($~0,000.00) for the construction of these projects. <br /> <br /> Phe Board adJorned 'to meet June 15, 1949 a~. 9 ~'clock.
