The Board of County Commissioners met June 4, 1951 for their regular meeting with the follo~lm~ <br />members present: <br /> <br /> J. Lee ~'~hite, chairman, Homer L. Fink, M. Smoot Lyles, ¥~ Ernest Stallings <br /> <br /> and L. Bowman Barrier. <br /> <br /> Absent: None <br /> <br />Mottonby~P. Ernest Stallings seconded by M. Smoot Lyles the the State Highway and Public V~orks <br />co~ssion be requested to survey and relocate Road from ~151 to dirt road known as Hamilton road, <br />take over and maintain road from Lane St. to Brantley road. Scrape and clean out ditches on road <br />from Poplar Tent Road to dead end. Clean ditches on road from Cannon Boulevard to Carolina <br /> <br />Drive. Scrape by State road in No. 4 TS. Tarl and gravel Easy Street from Highway 29 to Winecoff <br />School Road, Pave Dodge Street west from Center Grove Road to ~ustin Street, Austin Street north <br />to Plymouth Street. Tar and gravel road from Enochville Road to Bethpage road, Hard surface from <br />29 A, Caldwell Road known as Cross Road. Tar± and gravel road from Oni Wilson Store to Mecklenburg <br />C=.~nty li~. Place bridge at end of Corbin Street up creek to central drive <br /> <br />Motion by H L Fink seconded by M. Smoot lyles that Narshall Thompson be exempt from~ poll tax on <br />accounty of being disable.~. <br /> <br />Motion by P. Ernest Stallings seconded by H. L. Fink. <br />Free peddlers license be given to Z. L. Burnett on account~f being disable. <br /> <br />Motion by Homer 2. Fink seconded .by P~ Ernest S~aLlings that R. C. Kluttz tax be reduced to $87.65. <br /> <br />Motion by L. Bowman Barrier seconded by P. Ernest Stallings that J. F.
