Smoot Lyles that Herm7 P'arks license t o peddle be renewed <br /> <br /> on account of being disabled veteran. <br /> <br /> PETITION FOR CREATION OF JACKSON PARK SANITARY DISTRICT <br /> <br />TO; Board of Commissioner, Cabarrus County, North Carolina <br /> <br />1. We the undersigned resident freeholders within the district described in paragraph two, hereby <br />petition for the creation of a Sanitary District whose boundaries and objects shall be as described <br />below. <br />2. The area to be included in the proposed district shall be that part of Cabarrus County, North <br />Carolina~ within the boundary lines described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at a point in the Cabarrus-Ro~an County line 500 feet east of the centerline of the South- <br />ern Rai]_road right-of-way and running S. 11½ E. 400 feet and S. 2½ W. 525 feet along the line of a <br />small branch to the center of King Street; thence S. 87½ E. 270 feet; thence N. 6 E. 125 feet to a <br />point 150 feet south of the south ~roperty line of Janie S%~eet; thence parallel to Janie Street and <br />150 fe~t from its south li~ S. 87~ E. 1600 feet more or less to a point 200 feet west of the west <br />property line of Cannon Boulevard; thence parallel to said west property line and 200 feet from it <br />S. 1½ W. about 440 feet to a point opposite the center line of Hil~ Street; thence crossing Cannon <br />Boulevard and following the center of Hill Street; S. 85 E. 553 feet to the line of the Hillcrest <br />subdivision; thence following the lines of said subdivision S. 4¼ W. 316 feet and S. 84 E. 1700 fee~ <br />more or less to a point 150 feet from ~rantley Road; thence parallel to Brantley Road and 150 feet ~ <br />'from its.southern boundary in two courses S. 70 E. 1625 feet and S. 76½ E. 290 feet to the center o~ <br />a branch, thence following said branch S. 7 W. 240 feet; thence along the boundary of the southern <br />exbension of the Franklin Heights subdivision S. 84 E. 1980 feet more or less to a point in the lin. <br />of the western boundary of the Parkdale subelivision extended; thence in said line S. 20 W. 860 feet <br />thence along the southern boundary of the Parkdale subdivision S.70 E. 760 feet crossing Lake Shore <br />Drive; thence N. 13 3/4 E. 2900 feet more or less to the north east corner of the Franklin Heights <br />subdivision; thence N. 84 E. 600 feet; thence N. 15 E. 700 feet more or less to the Rowan County <br />line; thence along said lime N. 85 W. 10,100 feet more or less to the point of beginning. <br />3. The objects of the proposed sanitary district shall be to provide adequate water supply ~or <br />homes and business places located within such district and to provide adequate,, safe and sanitary <br />sewerage disposal facilitie~ for such district and to take over action, under supervision of the <br />State board of health, as may be necessary for the preservation and promotion of the public health <br />and sanitary welfare within the district. <br />More than 50% of the freeholders have signed this petition. <br /> <br /> Motion by Homer L.
