C. <br /> <br /> In accordance with the provisions of Section 153-8 of the General Statutes <br /> of North Carolina, notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the <br /> Board of County Commissioners of Cabarrus County, N. C. will be held in the <br /> <br /> office of the Register of Deeds at 10:O0 o'clock A. M. on MondsM, the 24th <br /> <br /> ~ay of November, 1952. <br /> <br /> This the 19th day of November, 1952. <br /> <br /> J. Bowman Barrier introduced the following bond order authorizing County bonds,. <br /> which was read: <br /> <br /> ORDER AUTHORIZING $72,000 COURTHOUSE BONDS <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDERED AND RESOLVEB by the Board of Commssioners for the County of Cabarrus: <br /> l. That, pursaant to the County Finance Act, as amended, bonds of the County of Cabarrus, Nort! <br /> Carolina, shall be issued in an aggregate principal amount not exceeding $72,000 for the purpose of <br /> providing funds for altering the Cabarrus County Courthouse and erecting and equipping an addition <br /> thereto. <br /> <br /> 2. That a tax sufficient to pay the principal and i~terest of said bonds when due shall be <br /> <br /> annually levied and collected. <br /> <br /> 3. That a statement of the County debt has been filed with the Clerk and is open to public <br /> <br /> inspection. <br /> <br /> 4. T~at this order shall take effect thirty daysafter the first publication th~ eof after <br /> <br /> final passage, unless in the meantime a petition for its submission to the voters is filed under <br /> <br /> said Act, and that in such event it shall take effect when approved by the voters of the County at <br /> <br /> <br />
