Section 3. That notice of said election and new registration shall be p~blished once a

<br />week for three successive weeks, the first publication to be at least thirty days before the
<br />close of the registration books, in The Daily Independent, a newspaper published in Cabarrus
<br />County and circulating in said District, which notice shall be in substantially the following form

<br /> SANITARY DISTRICT.
<br />
<br /> A special bond election will be held between 6:30 A. M. and 6:30 P. M., Eastern Standard
<br />Time,Saturday, June 26, 19~h, at which there will be submitted to the qualified registered
<br />voters af the Royal Oaks Sanitary District, in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, which District
<br />comprises the territory hereinafter described, the proposition of issuing not exceeding $17~,000
<br />Water Bonds of said District for the purpose of providing funds for acquiring the existing waterwo~ !ks
<br />system in said Dist~t and enlarging and extending the system after acquisition, including the
<br />installation of larger mains ~nd a new storage tank as set forth in a bond resolution adopted
<br />
<br />by the S~anitary District Board of Royal Oaks Sanitary District on the 1st day of May, 19~h.
<br /> The boundary lines of said Royal Oaks Sanitary District are as follows:

<br /> All of the area in the Royal Oaks Community, Cabarrus County, NOrth Carolina, included within
<br />the following boundaries:
<br />
<br /> Beginning at the northwest corner of the Royal Oaks School property in the southern boundary
<br />
<br />of Dakota AVenue and running along the western boundary of said school property south ~ 1/2 degree
<br />east, 1,06~, feet to the center of Three Mile Branch; thence following the center line of said Bra~ ch
<br />as it winds ~,000 feet more or less, crossing Mt. Olivet Road and running to a point in the weste~
<br />boundary of C~annon Boulevard at a culvert; thence North 76 degrees east, 1,700 feet more or less
<br />to a point 150 feet east of the line of the eastern boundary of MarylaudDrive and 150 feet south
<br />of the southern boundary of South Park Drive; thence north 2 1/2 degrees west, ~00 feet; thence
<br />north 76 degrees east, 700 feet; thence north~ degrees east, ~ feet to a point, said point bein
<br />l~O feet east of the eastern boundary of Concord Lake Road; thence in a straight line North l~ 1/2
<br />degrees west, 2330 feet more or less to a point in the center line of Earnhardt~ s Creek, l~O feet
<br />north of the northern boundary of Kansas Avenue; thence parallel to said boundary and l~O feet frol
<br />it south 8~ 1/2 degrees west, 1,200 feet to a point in the western boundary of Pennsylvania Drive;
<br />thence northward ~along said boundary north ll degrees west, 263 feet; thence again parallel to
<br />Kansas Avenue South 8~ 1/2 degrees west, 810 feet more or less to a point in the eastern boundary
<br />
<br />of Carolina Drive; thence southward along said boundary south 2 1/2 degrees east, 82 f~ee~; ~thence
<br />along lines of the Hoover and Alexard er addition, south 8~ 1/2 degrees west, 2~0 feet, south ~ 1/2

<br />degrees east, 100 feet, south 76 degrees west 7~0 feet, south l~ degrees east, 32~ feet and south
<br />
<br />~ 1/2 degrees east, 18~ feet to a point in the southern boundary of Dakota Avenue; thence along
<br />
<br />said boundary north 8~ 1/2 degrees east, 16~ feet to t~ point of beginning.
<br />
<br /> If said bonds shall be issued a tax will be l~ied on all taxable property within the Royal
<br />Oaks Sanitary District sufficient to pay the principal of and the interest on said bond~.
<br />
<br /> A new registration of voters has been ordered and no one will be permitted to vote unless
<br />registered anew. The books for such new. registration will be open from 9 A. M. until sunset on
<br />each day beginning Saturday, May 29, 19~2 and closing Saturday, June 12, 19~. On each Saturday
<br />during such registration period said books will be kept open at thepolling place. Saturday, June
<br />19, 19~, is C~hallenge Day.
