<br /> Public Works Co~,~.~,.ission be re~ueStedb~o take over or improve the following roads:

<br /> No. 2 Township- road runs from Mills Plow or Linker to George Motley, - Gravel.
<br /> No. 7 Township - Road St. Pau!s Holzness Church Road. i~widen and put in bridge.
<br /> No. 5 Township - Mark Walkers an~ Lee Cline Road. - Tar aA Gravel.
<br /> No. 4 Township - View Street. Open road _and ditches closed. ...........
<br /> No. 11 Township - Oak Drive -Tar aA Gravel
<br />
<br /> No. 9 Township - 200 Center Grove Church to Mt. Pleasant, & Ridge Crest Rd.
<br /> Tar and Gravel.

<br /> Motion by M. Smoot Lyles, seconded' by P.Ernest Stallings that the Cabarrus County
<br /> Kgricultural Fair be given permission to have fire works at the fair on September 20-25, 1954.
<br />
<br /> Motion by P. Ernest Stallings , seconded by Homer L. Fink that the Concord Fire Department,
<br /> Kannap~lis Fire Department, Harrisburg Fire Department, Mt. Pleasant Fire Department be given
<br /> a flat sum of $100.OO per month, instead of so much per fire and also the Jackson Park Fire
<br /> Department be given the same amount when they are equiped to fight fires.
<br />
<br /> Motion by P.Ernest Stallings, seconded by L. Bowman Barrier that Andrew Elmore Deal and
<br /> Fletcher Burnett be given free peddlers license on account of being disabled veterans.
<br />
<br /> The following good and lawful citizens were drawn to serve on the October term of Court.
