274 of Cabarrus as required by Section 3 of Article IX of the Constitution; now, therefore, BE IT ORDERED AND RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus: 1. That, pursuant to The County Finance Act, as amended, and in order to maintain the six months' school term in said County of Cabarrus as required byb Section 3 of Article IX of the Constitn~ion, the County of Cabarrus, NOrth Carolins, is. hereby authorized to contract a debt, in addition ~o any and all other debt which s~d County may now or hereafter have power or authority to contract, and in evidence thereof to issue School Building Bonds in an aggregate principal amount not exceeding $2,630,000 for the purpose of providing funds, with any other funds available for such purpose, for infecting an additional school building and additional school plant facili~ies~ remodeling and enlarging existing school buildings and. acquiring neeessa-ry lamd ar~ equipment therefor in o~rder to provide additional elementary and secondary school ~facilities in the County of Cabarrus. 2. That a tax sufficient to pay theprincipal of and the interest on said bonds when due shal be annually levied and collected. 3. That a statement of the County debt has been filed with the Clerk and is open to public inspection. ... 2. That this order shall take effect ~when approved by the voters of the County at an election as provided in said Act. The Board thereupon designated the County Accountant as the officer to make and file with the Clerk the statement of debt and assessed valuation of the County as required byh The County Finance Act, ag amended, to be filed before the final passage of t~ order which was introduced at this meeting. The order authorizing $2,630~O00 School Building Bonds was thereupon passed on first reading. On motion duly made and unanimously carried the Board fixed l0 o'clock A. M.
