That from the canvass so made by this Board it is determined arn declared: <br /> <br /> (a) That 3269 voters were ~egistered and qualified to vote. <br /> <br /> (b) That at said election 107h votes were cast in favor of levying, in addition to presentl <br /> <br /> levied supplemental tax rate, and additional maximum annual tax of twenty cents (20~) on the one ,~ <br /> hundred dollars ($100) valutation of taxable property, real and personal , in the Concord City <br /> Administrative School Unit to further supplement current school expense funds in said Unit, and <br /> 1678 votes were cast against the levying of said tax. <br /> <br /> (c) That a majority of the qualified voters of said Concord City Administrative School Unit who <br /> <br /> voted on the question submitted as aforesaid at said election voted against levying, in addition <br /> to presently levied supplemental tax rate, an additional maximum annual tax of twenty cents (20¢) <br /> on the one hundred dollars ($100) valuation of taxable property, zeal and personal, in the Concord <br /> <br /> City Administrative School Unit to further supplement current school expense funds in said unit. <br /> (d) That said Special Local Tax Election failed to carry. <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner M Smoot Lyles, seconded by Commissioner L BowmanBa~riez, t he~ <br /> <br /> for~egoing resolu_t~on entitled_ "Resolution Canvassing__t_he~He_t_ur_ns of t_h~e Special Local Tax <br /> <br /> Election Held February 18, 1958, and Determining and Declaring the Results Thereof" was passed by he <br /> <br /> ~ollowing vote: ~ <br /> <br /> AYES: ~Chairman W.Frank McCray <br /> M Smoot Lyles <br /> P Ernest Stallings <br /> L Bowman Barrier <br /> W Guy Isenhou~ <br /> <br /> NOES: None <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner M Smoot Lyles, seconded by Commissioner L Bowman Barrier, the <br /> foregoing~esul~tion entitled "Resolution Canvassing the Returns of the Special Local Tax <br /> Election Held February 18, 1958, and Determining and Declaring the aesults Thereof" was ordered <br /> <br /> <br />
