550 <br /> <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Bo~an L Barrier seconded by P.Ernest Stallings, that the <br /> <br /> foregoing resolution entitled "Resolution Increasin9 the Number of Commissioners for Parkwood <br /> Sanitary District and Electing the Initial Commissioners to Fill the Vacancies Created Thereby" <br /> was passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> ~kyes: W.Frank McCray, M.S. Lyles, W.Guy Isenhour,Bowman Barrier, and P.Ernest Stallings. <br /> <br /> ~oes: l~one. <br /> <br /> Commissioner W.Frank McCray presented the following resolution: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION INflq~ING THE NUMBER OF COMMISSIONERS FOR PARKW~D <br /> SANITARY DISTRICT AND ELECTING THE INITIAL COMMISSIONERS TO FILL <br /> THE VACANCIES .CREATED THEREBY <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WHEREAS, a request has been made by the existing Commissioners of <br /> <br /> the Parkwood Sanitary District to increase the number of the 9overnin9 body of the Parkwood <br /> ~anitary District from three (3) to five(5) members, all of which members shall be residents within <br /> the said District; <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus,State of North Carolina, are of the <br /> <br /> ~pinion that it would be to the best interest of all parties involved to increase the numberof <br /> <br /> said governing body from three (3) to five (5) members <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the ~overning ~Body of the Parkwood Sanitary District be <br /> and the same is hereby increased from three (3) to five (5) members of said 9overnin9 body shall <br /> <br /> hereafter consist of five (5) members, each of whom shall be a resident within said District. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Joe F.Craskey and James M.Stewart be and they are hereby elected <br /> <br /> members of the Parkwood Sanitary District Board who shall serve until their successors are elected <br /> <br /> and qualified. <br /> <br /> There being no further business the Board adjorned to meet at their next regular meeting. <br /> <br /> Clerk to Board <br /> <br /> <br />
