<br /> RESOLUTION P£LATING TO THE
<br /> CREATION OF A SANITARY DISTRICT"

<br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus:
<br />
<br /> Section 1. That the Board of Commissioners has determined and does hereby find and declare:
<br />
<br /> (a) That on the dayJ~e~ 6, 1960, the ~followin§ petition was received by the Board of
<br />Commissioners of the County of Cabarrus:
<br /> PETITION FOR CREATION OF SANITARY DISTRICT
<br />
<br /> We, the undersi§ned resident freeholders within the boundaries of the territory
<br /> described below respectfully petition the Board of Commissioners for the County of
<br /> Cabarrus, North Carolina, to take all necessary action required by Article 12 of Chapter
<br /> 130 of the General Statutes of North Carolina for the creation of a sanitary district
<br /> comprising such territory, the objects proposed to be accomplished by the c~eation of such
<br /> district being the acquisition, construction, maintenance and operation of a water supply
<br /> and distribution sFstem, a sewerage system, sewage disposal or treatment plant, providing
<br /> adequate fire protection facilities, and such other utilities as maybe necessary for the
<br /> preservation andpromotion of the public health and sanitary welfare within the district.

<br /> Ali. of the territory proposed to be included in such sanitary district is located
<br /> in Cab~rrus County, North Carolina, and the boundaries of i~uch territory are as follows:

<br /> BEGINNII~G at a Black Jack Oak in the north line of Lot No. 31, Block A of Rockland
<br /> corner of Cabarrus Connty Home Property and Annle.K. Turner Property, and being designated
<br /> as "Control Corner" on Plats of Rockland, No. 11 ownship, recorded in Plat Book $, page 76
<br /> and Plat Book 9 page 30, in the office of the Re§lster of Deeds for Cabarrus County, North
