That the Board of Commissioners, through it, s Chairman, nbtify the State Board of <br /> Health of the receipt of said petition, and request that a representative of the State Board of <br /> Health hold. a joint public hearing with the County Commissioners of Cabarrus Cour~ty concerning the <br /> creation of the proposes s~nitary district. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the Chairman of the Board of County Comissioners and the State Hea~th <br /> Director name a suitable time~ place and date for said joint public hearing: <br /> <br /> Section h. That the Chairman of the ~oard of County Commissioners, upon agreement with the <br /> State Health Director as to the ttme..and place of said public hearing, ~ive prior notice of <br /> such hearing by posting a notice at the Courthouse door of Cabarrus County and also by publication of <br /> such notice in the Concord Tribune, a newspaper published in Cabarrus County. <br /> <br /> SectioB ~. That a joint public hearing shall be held by the Board of County CommissiOners <br /> cf Cabarrus County with a representative of the State Board of Health,at such time and place <br /> as ~s agree~ upon by the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners and the State Healty Birector, <br /> at which time and place any freeholder within the proposed sanitary district or other interested <br /> person may appear and be heard. <br /> <br /> Commissioner W.Guy Isenhour moved the passage of the foregoing resolution entitled <br /> "RESOLUTIO~ RELATING TO THECRF~ON OF A SANITARY DISTRICT", and Commissioner P E Stallings <br /> seconded the motion, a nd the resolution was passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes: W.F. Guy Isenhour a~d Bowman Barrier <br /> <br /> Noes: None. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION PBOVIDING FORT HE LEVY OF TAXES FOR THE PARKWOOD SANITARY DISTRICT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the following resolution, passed by the Sanitary District Board of the Parkwood <br /> Sanitary District on the l~th day of May, l?60, has been received by the Board of Commissioners <br /> for the County of Cabarrus: <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Sanitary District Board o f Parkwood Sanitary District Board of T~ <br /> Parkwood Sanitary District: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Sanitary District Board has determined and does hereby find and declare: <br /> (a) That the funds available from surplus operating revenues as provided by G.S. 130-1th are <br /> not sufficient for the payment of interest ~nd the retirement of the District's bonds. <br /> <br /> (b) That the assessed valuations of the property within the limits of the Parkwood <br /> Sanitary District amount to approximately $766,000.00. <br /> <br /> (c) That a levy of fifteen cents (1~) per one hundred dollars ($100.00) valuation will <br /> produce approximately fourteen hundred, fifty dollars ($1h~O.~O0) revenue. <br /> <br /> (d) That barring unforeseen and unanticipated expenses, the sum of fourteen hundred, <br /> fifty dollars ($1~0.00) should be ample to meet all obligations of the district durin~hhe <br /> fiscal year 1960-1961. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
