<br /> July 29,1960, at the Bright Light Baptist Church, Ross Street,Concord, North Carol ina, which
<br /> public hearing will be held by the Board of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus and a
<br /> representative of the North Carolina State Board of Healh¥ upon a petiton, f~led with the Board
<br /> of Commissioners for the County of Cabarrus, proposing the creation of a sanitary district.
<br /> All of the territory proposed to be included in such sanitary district is located in Cabarrus
<br />
<br /> County, North Carolina, and the boundaries of such territory are as follows:
<br />
<br /> Beginning at a Black Jack Oak in the north lineof Lot No. 51,BlockA of Rockland, corner of
<br /> Cabarrus..CoUnty'Home Property and Annie K.Turner Property, and being designated as Contrai Corner
<br /> on Plats of Kockland, No. 11 Township, recorded in Plat Book 8, page 75, and Plat Book 9 page
<br /> 30, in the office of the Register of Deeds for Cab~rmus County Home Property, the following
<br /> four courses: North 14 degrees 52 minutes East 886 feet to a stone; thence South 70 degrees 45
<br /> minutes East, 646.60 feet to a stone in the Western Right of Way lzneof Rockland zrc!e; thence
<br /> North z~0 degrees 30 minutes East, 348 feet~ a stone; thencd North 15 degrees East, 115.40 feet
<br /> to a point in the southern Right of way line of Palmer Street; thence, with the Righ't of way line

<br /> No. 96; thence South 6 degrees 44 minutes East, 111.60 feet to a point; thence South 9 degrees

<br /> minutes West, 550.80 feet to a point, the northeast corner of Union Cemetery property; thence
<br /> with the Union Cemetery northern property line and crossing a county road, South 79 de,tees 47
<br /> minutes West, 559.40 feet to a point inW. L. Morris Property line; thence, with W. L. ~orris
<br /> Property line, North 5 degrees 45 minutes West, 1300 feet to a point in the above mentioned
<br /> county road, said p~int being located North 86 degrees 5 minutes West, ~2.6 feet from the
<br /> northwest corner of Lot No. 1, Block A, of the above mentioned ~ockland Development; thence,
<br /> crossing the county road and running with the Cabarrus County Home Property line, South 86 degree~
<br /> 5 minutes East, 755.00 feet to a Black Jack Oak, the point and plate of Beginning.'

<br /> The objects proposed to be accomplished by the creation of such sanitary district are the
<br /> acquisition, construction, maintenance and operation of a watersupply and distribution system,
<br /> a sewerage system, sewage disposal or treatment plant, providing adequate fire protection
<br /> facilities, and such other utilities as may be necessary for the preservation and promotion of
<br /> the public health and sanitary welfare within the district.

<br /> At the time and place above stated any freeholder within the propsSed sanitary district or
<br /> other interested person may appear and be heard.
<br />

<br />
