A apecial bond election is hereby ordered to he held in the Royal Oaks ~anttary <br /> District, in Caharrus County, North Caroltna~ on Tuesday, May 16, 1961, between 6:30 A. M. a~d 6:3~ <br /> P M., Easternb'tandard Time, at which there Shall he submitted to the qualified registered voters <br /> said Royal Oaks Sanitary District the following proposition: <br /> <br /> Issuing not exceeding $270,000 General Obligation Sanitary Sewer Bonds for the <br /> purpose of proctdtng funds, with other available funds, tbr the construction ami <br /> acquisition of additions and extensions tothe Sanitary sewer system for the District, <br /> including the acquisition and installation of oUtfaliand collecting lines, the <br /> construction o f pumping stations and force mains, and the acquisitionof any necessary <br /> lami and rights of way, as authorized hy a bond resolution adopted hy the Sanitary <br /> District Board of said District on March 30, 1961, and hhe levy of a tax for the payme <br /> thereof. <br /> <br /> Section 3. For said election the regular ~&ap registration hooks for elections in said <br /> Royal Oaks Sanitary District shall he used and such hooks shall he open for the retliStration of <br /> voters not theretofore registered from 9:00A M until sunset on each day heginning Saturday, April <br /> 22, 1961 a nd ending Saturday, May 6, 1 961. On each Saturday during such period said hooks shall <br /> De lept open at the polling place. Saturday, May 13,1961, shall he Challenge Day. <br /> <br /> Section 4. Notice of said election and supplemental registration shall he published once a <br /> ~eek for three successive weeks, the first publication toh~ at least thirty (30) days before the <br /> zlection, in The Daily Independent, a newspaper published in Caharrus County an~i circulating in <br /> said District, which notice shall he in substantially the following fo~m: <br /> <br /> NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOND ELECTION A ND SUPPLEMENTAL REGISTRATION <br /> IN <br /> ROYAL OAKS SANITARY DISTRICT <br /> A Special bond election will he held between 6:3- A M and 6:30 P M, Eastern Standard Time, <br /> ~sday May 16, 1961, at which there will he submitted to thequatified registered voters of the Royal <br /> <br /> <br />
