<br /> 3aks Sanitary District, in Cabarrus County, ~orth Carolina, which District comprises the
<br /> territory hereinafter described, the following proposition:
<br />
<br /> Issuing not exceeding $270,000 General Obligation Sanitary Sewer Bonds for the
<br /> purpose of providing funds, with other available funds, for the construction
<br /> and acquisition of additions and extensions to the sanitary sewer system for the
<br /> District, including the acquisition and imtallation of outfall mci collecting
<br /> lines, the construction of pumping stations ard force mains, and the acquisition of
<br /> any necessary land and rights of way, as authorizec by a bond resolution adopted
<br /> by the Sanitary District Board of said District on March 30, 1961 and the levy of a
<br /> tax for the payment thereof.

<br /> Beginning at the northwest corner of the Royal Oaks SchoOl property in the southern boundary
<br /> of Dakota Avenue ami running along the western boundary of said school property south h 1/2
<br /> degrees east, 1,065 feet to the center of three Mile Branch; thence followin9 the center line of
<br /> said branch as it winds h,O00 feet more or less, crossing Mt. Olivet Road and running to a point
<br /> in the western boundary of Cannon Boulevard at a culvert; thence North 76 degrees east 1,7OO
<br /> feet more or less to a point 150 feet east of the line of the eastern boundary of Maryland drive
<br /> and 150 feet south of the southern boundary of South Park Drive; thence North h 1/2 degrees West
<br /> bOO feet; thence North 76 degrees east 7OO feet thence north 33 degrees east 555 feet to a point,
<br /> said point being 150 feet east of the eastern boundary of Concord Lake Road; thence in a straight
<br /> line north lh 1/2 degrees west, h,330 feet more or less to a point in the center line of
<br /> Earnhardt's Creek, 150 feet north of the northern boundary of Kansas Avenue; thence parallel to
<br /> said Boundary and 150 feet from it south 85 1/2 degrees west, 1,200 feet to a point in the western
<br /> boundaFy of Pennsylvania Drive; thence northward along s. aid boundary north ll degrees west, 265
<br /> feet; thence again parallel to Kansas Avenue South 85 1/2 degrees west, 810 feet more or less to
<br /> a point in the eastern boundary of Carolina Drive; thence southward along said boundary south hi
<br /> degrees east, 8h feet; tmhence along lines of the Hoover and Alexander addition, south 85 1/2
<br /> degrees west, 2hO fee~;, south h½ de. grees east, lO0 feet, south 76 degrees west, 730 feet, south lh
<br /> degrees east, 325 feet and south h~ degrees east, 185 feet to a point tnt he southern baundary of
<br /> Dakota Avenue; thence along said boundary north 85 1/2 degrees east, 165 feet to the point of
<br /> Beginning.
<br />
<br /> If said bonds shall be issued a tax will be levied upon all taxable property within said Royal
<br /> Oaks Sanitary District sufficient to pay the principal of and the interest on said bonds.
<br /> For said election the regular registration books for elections in said Rl~Tal Oaks Sanitary
<br /> District will be used and such books will be open for the registration of voters not theretofore
<br /> registered from 9:00 A M until sunset on each day beginning Saturday April 22, 1961 and ending
<br /> Saturday May 6, 1961. On each Saturday during such re9istration period said books will be
<br /> kept open at tPz polling place. Saturday May 13, 1961 is Challenge Day.
<br />
<br /> The polling place and the names of the election officers, subject to change as provided by Law,
<br /> are as follows:

<br /> bond election and new registration are hereby appointed Registrar and Judges and said election
<br /> shall be held at the polling place indicated in said notice.
