Boger, <br /> <br /> Hegisterof Deeds and ex officio Clerk of ; <br /> Board of Commissioners <br /> <br /> Upon motion of M.Smoot Lyles seconded by L.Bowman Barrier, the following resolution was <br /> <br /> unanimously adopted: <br /> <br /> Whereas it has become necessary for the County of Cabarrus to institute suits in the <br /> <br /> Superior Court of Cabarrus County, N.C. for the purpose cf enforcin9' tax liens against real IDek <br /> <br /> estate for unpaid taxes: <br /> <br /> And Whereas~ it is necessary t~hat complaints in said suits be verified and ~hat other <br /> <br /> affidavits be made in connection with same: <br /> <br /> Therefore, be it resolved that the Cabarrus County Tax Collector be and he is hereby <br /> <br /> authorized aZ empowered to verify said complaints and to make such other affidavits as may be <br /> <br /> necessary and proper in said tax foreclosure suits. <br /> <br /> Be it further resolved that in the event that the Court in its discretion appoints the <br /> <br /> 6abarrus County Tax Collector as commissioner to sell any real estate involved in any tax fore- <br /> closure suit~ the Commissioner's co~mission shall be taxed by the Court as a. part of the costs <br /> and paid to the Treasurer of Cabarrus County as provided by law. <br /> <br /> <br />
