NO/'ICE OF SPECIAL ,~')ND ELECTION AND N~ REFIS'iRATION ROCKLAND SANITARY DISTRICT A special bond election will be held between 6:30 A.M. and 6:30 P.M., Eastern Standard Time, 5a[urday, December 9, [961., at which there will 'be submitted to the qualified registered voters of the Rockland Sanitary District, in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, which District comprises the territory hereinafter described, the followin~ proposition: Issuing not exceeding $30,000 General Obligation Water Bonds for the purpose of providing fuz~ds, with any other avail- able funds, for the acquisition and ex- tension of a water sy,~tem for the Rock- land Sanitary District, i~cludln~ the acquisition of' any necessary land and rights of way, as authorized by a bond resolution adopted Oy the S~itary Dis- trict Board of said District on October 12, 1~)61, and the levy of a tax for the payment thereof. The boundary line~ of s~id Rbckland Sanitary District are as follows: BEGINNING at a Black .Iack Oak in the north line of Lot No. 31, Block "A" of Rockland, corder of Cabarrus County }{(~e Property and Annie K. Turner Property~ and being designated as "Control Corner" on Plats of Rockland, No. 1! Township, recorded in Plat Book 8, page 76, and Plat Book 9, page 30, in the office of ~he Register'of for Cabarrus County, North Carolina; thence, with the line of Cabarrus County Home Property, the following four courses: · North 14 degrees 32 minutes East, 886 feet to a stone; thence South 70 degrees 45 minutes East, 646.~3 feet to a stone in the western Right-of-Way line of Rockland Circle; thence North 40 degrees 30 minutes East, .'~4,8 feet ~o a stone; thence North 15 Deg. ~ast, 113.40 feet to a point in the southern Right-of-Way line of Palmer Street; ~hence, ,ith the Right-of-Way line of Palmer Street, South 86 degrees 5 minutes East, 129,70 feet to a point; thence -3-
