Causby T h Due to maMy requests from interested citizens andupon suggestion from Chairman Frank James, Mr. l~aul R. Yountz, District Highway Commissioner, was contracted on December 97, 1962 in regards to th~ installation of two U-way stop lights at the intersection of White Street and Highway 29-A (at the corner where CochranBrothers GrocezTf is located) tnthe Brown Mill section of Cabarrus County and at the intersection of North Main Street and Highway 29 in Mt. Pleasant, N.C. Mr Yountz was not en- couraging and stated that "Just because the people want stop lights is no reason that they are goth! to get them."
